| HOW
WE OFFER FEATURES
We use a formula made up of demand, knowledge, experience and
intuition to syndicate each feature.
Treatments
of submitted features are sent out via e-mail to all of our related
clients on a daily basis. Many editors rely on these daily suggestions
to help decide on the content of their next issue.
In
addition, features are personally proposed and discussed with
editors of appropriate titles.
When
editors are indeed interested in a suggested feature, they can
request to view the full text and/or photography, which is then
sent exclusively to them on consideration basis. Editors may take
3 days to decide whether they’d like to use a feature.
During
that exclusive first option period the feature is not offered
to other outlets in the same country.

REQUESTS
& ASSIGNMENTS
In addition to offering the features we have on file, we are constantly
receiving requests from editors for specific stories, different
versions of submitted features and tailor-made content.
When
we don't have these on hand we send out requests to the appropriate
journalists to see what's out there. When necessary, we also commission
features to be written specifically.
EXCLUSIVITY
IFA sells exlusive one-time publication rights of a feature for
a specific country or region.
To ensure this exclusivity we agree with our journalists on a
set of countries where they want to be represented.
In
exclusivity contracts our journalists commit to refrain from offering
their features themselves, or through any other agency, in the
agreed upon countries.
If
you want to know more about representation contracts, please contact
us.
